This is Nikki and the story about her in her new home ( have a look at her pictures below).
She came to us the 4 of june 2009 from PAWS animal rescue on Ireland. Thank you everyone for loking after this little peace of juwellery and for keeping her safe.
I will update this page mainly with pictures.Nikki has adopted well into the family. She still searches for food but not as hystericly as before. She is beginning to lern that the food on the table isn`t hers ( That does not stop her from trying though). She goes in to the livingroom for a nap in the sofa even though we are in the kitchen!
She sleeps in a BIA-bed in our bedroom at night but every morning she enters our bed for som much needed cuddles. It´s so great to have a dog that does not jump up barking for playtime and food at 6 à clock every morning as our flatcoats do.......
Sometimes she stays in our bed by her self just for a little bit longer .......
She loves to ride in the car, food, cuddles, long walks without any unnessesary stops, she gets boared very quickly , that is if the stop dosen´t include cudles from someone.....
She loves to run like a maniac in the garden and to play with her tennisballs.
Nikki is now much more relaxed and it seams as if she is learning too trust her new friends. Flatcoatedretrivers can bee very lively and playful. Even our Saluki Lady thinks they are a bit too mutch sometimes. But they are getting along well with Nikki and since they are flatcoats she gets a lot of kisses....
She is doing very well in the food situation knowing now she has a bowl of her own, she eats fast but do understand that you have to wait for the others to finish before you dive into their foodbowls.
